DAY 1: LIMA PARACAS

paracasAssistance on your arrival to Lima “Jorge Chavez” Airport and transfer to the bus station

Today we take the bus to Paracas. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2 PARACAS – BALLESTAS ISLANDS / NAZCA

Today we transfer to Paracas Bay to take the tour by motorboat to the Ballestas Islands, we will available to see many aquatic animals such as Otters, sea lions, pelicans, Humboldt penguins etc. Along the way we will see the famous figure known as The Candelabro, an enigmatic design etched on the desert floor hundreds of years ago. In the afternoon travel by bus to Nazca. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8 AREQUIPA / PUNO

After the breakfast, departure by bus to Puno approx.5 hours journey transfer to the hotel.

DAY 3 TOUR OVER FLIGHT NAZCA LINES BY AIRPLANE – AREQUIPA

sobrevuelo-nazcaEarly morning breakfast. Today we take the tour to over flight. We will visit the Museum of the site. The Maria Reiche tomb and we will stop at the Over view of Nazca. Cut into the stony desert are large number of lines, not only parallels and geometrical figures, but also designs such as a dog, an enormous monkey, a bird with a wing span of over 100 meters, a spider and a tree. The lines, that represent some sort of vast astronomical pre-Inca calendar, are best seen from the air, we will take a half hour flight above the Lines. At noon, bus to Arequipa the White City because of its building madre from sillar white volcanic rock. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 4 CITY TOUR AREQUIPA

arequipa2City tour of Arequipa, including the Main Square, one of the most beautiful squares in Peru, and the Cathedral, a prime example of XIX century Peruvian architecture, housing beautiful treasures in gold and silver. We also visit the La Compania Church, and ancient Jesuit temple, maybe the most important one in Arequipa due to its history and tradition, with a beautiful façade with carved columns, laurel crowns, flowers, birds, etc. A more careful look at the façade, however, reveals the limits of European influence, as the angels have Indian faces; and indeed one face is even crowned with feathers. Then, we will visit the Santa Catalina Convent; a “small town” built in the XVII century and opened to the public in 1970, after 400 years cloister. Perfectly preserved for four centuries, you go back in time as you enter the cloister and see the numerous, spacious patios and gardens, the kitchen and slave quarters and stone washtubs of this convent. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 13 CUSCO LIMA

Breakfast in the Hotel At the scheduled time you will be transported to the airport.

When arrive to Lima is it possible to take a City Tour with duration of four hours Approx.

DAY 12 MACHUPICCHU FULL DAY

machupicchu2Very early Breakfast in the Hotel. transfer Hotel to Train Station to take the road to get the little town named AGUAS CALIENTES, From there we will board a bus that will take to the Lost City of the Inkas MACHUPICCHU We will continue with a two hour guided tour of this magic place. After the guided tour there will be free time to explore in more detail the site. According to the scheduled time of the train In the Afternoon the return to Aguas Calientes, Lunch and then the coming back to Cusco. Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 11 SACRED VALLEY

valle-sagradoAfter breakfast You will be picked up from the hotel at 8:30 a.m. to take the guide tour to SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS where we will see the little town of Pisaq and its typical handicraft market and the plaza.

We will continue the journey long the side of the Vilcanota river to Urubamba where we will have an exquisite lunch buffet, then we continue with the tour to get the tourist center of Ollantaytambo where we are going to see important archeological remains. Coming back to Cusco by Chinchero, another tourist center and colonial town. There we will visit the church and plaza. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 10 PUNO- CUSCO

Breakfast in the Hotel. Journey by bus to Puno, this service includes 5 stopped to guided. First stop Pukara   3900 meters altitude was the first regional population center in the northern Lake Titicaca Basin during the Late Formative Period (500 BC- AD 200), providing valuable insights into the origins of Andean civilization in the highlands. La Raya Pass 4335 meters altitude, is the watershed between the valley that drains into Lake Titicaca and the valley that leads down to Cusco and to the Sacred Valley. Sicuani Buffet Lunch 3552 meters altitude. Raqchi “Temple of Wiracocha” — 3450 meters altitude, The most important building inside the complex is the “Wiracocha temple” that according to the old chroniclers was built by the Inca Wiracocha in honor to the Superior God invisible for the Andean people. Andahuaylillas 3122 meters altitude, the church is a small structure consisting of one nave, apse and bell tower. But there’s a reason why it’s known as the Sistine Chapel of America. 5:00 pm Arrival Cusco 3400 meters altitude Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 9 PUNO TITICACA LAKE – UROS FLORATING ISLANDS -TAQUILE ISLAND

uros3Breakfast and transfer from your hotel to the port and by motor boat we travel to one of the UROS islands where you can observe the lives of the people who live on floating reed islands some only 20 meters in length. After a beautiful 2 hr boat ride we reach Taquile Island where we will tour around the ruins and visit these beautiful people, world famous for their intricate and fascinating weavings, after you purchase lunch we will return to Puno. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6   CRUZ DEL CONDOR – AREQUIPA

Driving we get the most visited point “Cruz Del Condor”, here we will be able to observe the depths and beauty of the deepest canyon in the world. Also here, you will enjoy the imposing beauty of nature and you will observe the emblem of the Colca, the Condor. Overnight at the hotel

DAY 5 COLCA VALLEY

cruz-condorWe depart at 08:00 a.m. Pick you up at your Hotel. On the way we will appreciate the spectacular Volcanoes of Misti (5825 m.s.n.m) and Chachani (6057 m.s.n.m.), also we see wild vicuñas, alpacas & llamas in Pampa Cañahuas national reserve, Also we can observe exotic birds such as: flamingos, ducks, ibis, falcons, eagles, and many others. The view point of the Volcanoes and snow covered mountains in Patapampa (4,800 m.a.s.l). Continuing with the trip we start our decent into Chivay (3600 m.a.s.l), capital of the valley. Afternoon optional visit to the thermal springs and pools in La Calera 40ºC.

Note: The optional visit to La Calera Hot Springs is for passenger’s staying at Chivay only.
